Nail Love: Meet Ashley aka AstroWifey

One day I was on my favorite blogs The Boobs, I was about to comment on the nails did post that was up when I saw this lady’s comment. She had left the link to her blog up and being noisy I copied and pasted it to my web browser. When I arrived I was amazed by her work! Miss Ashley is a self taught nail artist on the rise. Here is the 411 on Miss Wifey:

My name is Ashley, and I reside in Chicago, IL. My life is music, graff enthusiast, streetwear, and keepin nails fresh. I’m an artist, independent nail artist, and blogger. No beauty school notches under my belt, I’m self taught. I don’t use nail pens for designs, everything is by hand with a nail art brush. I find inspiration from my nails from street wear brands, and things I love. I’m hoping to take formal classes soon so that I can become a nail tech here in Chicago, and hopefully open up my own salon/store. Feel Good Friday: I just wanna hear a good beat!!

Rainbow Nails’s Glitter sensation

Last month I went with my bestie ,her daughter and her sis to their nail spot in my old neighborhood in Queens called Rainbow nails.  The salon is a nice sized spot with a friendly staff but when it came to the workman ship they suck! The only good about this spot is that they can do glitter acrylic set good. But in the end, my friend and her sister’s nails came out good. Check it….

Nail Love: Meet Ashley Sade

Readers I would like you to meet Bay Area native Miss Ashley Sade. She is a sneaker fiend(like me), hairstylist, Scorpio(me too), painter and most importantly a nail artist. I first was put on to Miss Sade on Hellz Bellz Blog: What the Hellz as she was featured  as Hellz girl of the week. As I read through her interview I saw the key words nail artist and then pictures of her work. I was honestly amazed! All I have to say is Linda Smyth is a genius!!! Ever since I bought a pair of earrings from her back in April, I have been getting so many compliments on them. I have been dying to get a few more pairs from her but due to some circumstances I haven’t . But now that I have a steady job now (yay!) I can!
