How did the ILL Lines brand start?
The iLL Lines brand actually started by accident. Every since i can remember, people have called me “weird” or “different.”
Lol. I’ve always been creative, and my individualistic frame of mind didnt let me fit into the norm. I would bling out watches, shoes, glasses. Rock my chucks with different color laces, I would take something and put my touch on it and it would always attract alot of attention. Some people would “hate” but alot of people would compliment me, ask me where I purchased items from, or how did I make it. Im not a player hater, so I would tell them, or make items for people, I looked at it as a compliment. This fueled my fire. Eventually the business side of me took over, and I started charging people make different items. I was making items so much that i decided to create my own brand. I looked at all the rappers and designers that were making millions and millions and I said ” Self, what makes these people so much better than me, they are no better, and if I can get exposure to lots and lots of people, I can make millions and millions of dollars too.” That’s how The iLL Lines was born.

Where did the name The ILL Lines come from?
The name The iLL Lines came to me one day when I was thinking of what to call my brand. I was thinking to my self….self, what would be the best name for the coldest, sweetest, illest fashion line. The coldest, sweetest, illest fashion line…Then I swear, the little light bulb popped up over my head. The iLL Lines. That’s when I came up with The iLL Lines. The iLL Lines is just the name of all of the lines that will be released. Eyewear, footwear, accessories, and jewelry lines.

What inspires you to create the awesome jewelry pieces that you make?
My inspiration comes from my love of creating and designing things. I love colors. I think colors lighten your mode, I think they are beautiful. I am also inspired because my creativity and individuality sets me aside from everybody else. I like to be different lol. It is very inspiring when I create a new piece, and I get a overwhelming response. When i put a new item out and I get a big response, and i have to pull in a more staff just to fill orders….That’s Inspiration! When I get tons and tons of emails with customers that are thanking me for the good customer service, or telling me how much they LOVE! my shop. That’s Inspiration! When i do a custom piece for a customer, go out my way to do the best job possible, no matter what it takes, and they receive the item and are just in shock and awe, and excited out of their mind, That’s Inspiration! I just love what I do. I love making people happy.
Do you see the ILL lines branching off into other accessories or a clothing line?
Yes The iLL Lines will have a eye wear, footwear, accessories, jewelry, and custom line. We started off with our jewelry line. We will release 200 styles and then release items from our accessories line next. We will be releasing different items from other lines from time to time tho. We will also be doing special promotions weekly, from our Facebook fan page. We will be giving out free items, and sponsoring contest daily. Where you see your brand 5yrs from now?
Five years from now, I see my brand in major department stores. I see my brand on worn by major celebrities. But not only celebrities, but by everyday people also. All of our customers are celebrity status to us. I see The iLL Lines as one of the most well known brands out. I would like to evolve into designing furniture, custom cars, a baby line for hi end baby line, and who knows, maybe even branch off into the music industry. We have artist that we are working with right now, so we’ll see how that works out.
What can people expect to see more of?
The best is yet to come. We have 200 items we havent released in our jewelry line. Our customers are loving the items we have now, but its nothing compared to the items we strategically will be releasing soon. This line will be like no other! Thats a promise. We will be taking it to new heights… Just to give an example, look at all the other companies. Now think of the ones that are most popular, and the heights they took it to. Now multiply that times a zillion…..ok right above that is where we will be taking it to. We have a pretty solid crew of out of the box thinking designers.
